Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our training programs
Which package should I start with?
If you're new to mobile security, start with Basic - it covers Android internals, permissions, IPC, and static analysis without assuming prior security experience. If you already work with tools like jadx and understand APK structure, you can jump into Intermediate. Advanced is for those comfortable with Frida, Smali patching, and native analysis.
What tools will I use during the training?
Depending on your package: apktool, jadx, Ghidra, radare2, and ADB (Basic), plus Frida for runtime hooking and Smali-level patching (Intermediate), plus ARM64 analysis, VM devirtualization scripts, and system-level inspection tools (Advanced). Everything comes pre-configured in your cloud VM.
Do I need to set up my own environment?
No. Each participant gets a dedicated cloud-hosted VM with all tools, vulnerable apps, and lab exercises pre-installed. VM access lasts 30-90 days depending on your package.
Are the sessions live or self-paced?
All sessions are live, instructor-led, and virtual. You'll interact with the instructor in real time, ask questions, and work through labs with guided support. Maximum group sizes are kept small (12-15 participants) to ensure hands-on attention.
Does the training cover iOS or only Android?
The curriculum is focused entirely on Android. However, many concepts - threat modeling, runtime instrumentation principles, and exploitation methodology - translate directly to iOS and cross-platform frameworks. The Intermediate package also covers Flutter and React Native analysis.
Can we book a private session for our organization?
Yes. We offer private group sessions with customized content tailored to your team's tech stack and threat model. Contact us for pricing and scheduling.
